By now you have seen the tree work that was performed including trimming, removing dead branches and the removal of three trees. Two of trees that were removed were overgrown and unmanageable. Several board members consulted with the tree company and the decision was made to remove them and replant two trees instead of the three, which will be chosen shortly and planted in the Fall. The replacement in front of home will be smaller tree in hopes of easy maintenance with less of a canopy and less limb loss during storms.
The trees near the flag pole will be replaced with a single tree, as one had overgrown the flag pole and the other was close tot he street light. A new area will be chosen to ensure the tree does not impede the light or flag pole going forward – again, with the consultation of the tree company.
The remaining stumps will be ground in the upcoming weeks and trees will be planted in the Fall, per the recommendation of the tree company.
